My parents are visiting from Australia.

While this sounds awesome, and don’t get me wrong, it is - it’s also exhausting. Why, you might ask - and I would answer that we’ve arranged so many different activities and trips, that I’m going to need another vacation after they leave.

So we’re almost done with January.

I think I live in constant fear of just how fast 2014 is going to fly by. The fact that publishing is pretty much just a drawn out waiting game - doesn’t help.

It’s that time of year again folks, the time when I bite the bullet and write a ridiculously long todo list - challenging myself to accomplish it by the end of the year.

I think I’ll try and be more realistic in 2014
